Spring 2012 Tuition and Fees
All Spring 2012 classes meet January 7-May 12.
Acting Classes will have their showcases May 7-12.
Dance Classes will have their showcase on Saturday, May 5.

Homeschool Acting (Instructor: Dru Barcus) REGISTER
Tuesdays 11:00am-12:30pm
Whether you love acting or you’re just getting started, Homeschool Acting provides each student the personalized attention they need to build their confidence and abilities.

Acting I (Instructor: Maryclaire Ireland) REGISTER
Thursdays 4:30-6:00pm OR Saturdays 10:30-11:30am
Fall in love with the world of theatre in this exciting class.  Students will learn the basics of stage performance from vocal projection to character development and stage presence while nurturing their creativity and confidence.

Ballet Grade I (Instructor: Desiree Johnson) REGISTER
Mondays & Wednesdays 4:30-5:30pm
Continues to build on technique and concepts from Pre-ballet level II. More emphasis on correct placement, posture and execution as this level is building a strong foundation for further dance training, while continuing to nurture the love of dance. Once a student has reached this level Jazz may be added to the repertoire.

Boys Hip Hop Ages 5-9 (Instructor: Desiree Johnson) REGISTER
Thursdays 3:30-4:15pm
Boys will love this “no girls allowed” dance class…and they’ll learn today’s most popular style of dance to some of the radio’s biggest hits.

Hip Hop I (Instructor: Shelby Stevens) REGISTER
Saturdays 9:30-10:30am  
Dance like your favorite pop stars! In this high-energy, age-appropriate class, kids will learn fun hip-hop techniques and combinations, danced to their favorite music. Students interested in Hip Hop are encouraged to enroll in Ballet Grade I.

Musical Theatre I (Instructor: Kate Miller) REGISTER
Tuesdays 4:30-5:30pm
This workshop style class will take you on a journey down the Great White Way with a perfect blend of singing, dancing and acting!  Perform scenes and songs from Broadway musicals while learning the history behind each show.

Tap I (Instructor: Maryclaire Ireland) REGISTER
Saturdays 11:30am-12:30pm
Let your feet feel the beat as you learn one of America’s most popular dance styles.  Rhythm and precision are key to mastering this fun dance form.

100 Years of Broadway with Hit The Road Traveling PerformanceTroupe (Instructor: Kate Miller) REGISTER
Wednesdays 4:30-6:00pm
One of Stone Oak Youth Theatre’s most popular long-running classes.  Hit The Road combines song and dance performance with community service. Students learn a musical revue each semester, then tour their show to nursing homes and community events.
